• The Growing Healthy Minds Initiative was born out of RUHS - Behavioral Health Preschool 0-5 Programs which was established in 2000. Refer to our History page for additional information. 
• In May of 2018, Preschool 0-5 Programs was awarded funding and identified as the lead agency to support an early childhood integrated system of care across Riverside County. Preschool 0-5 Programs is leading efforts, under the guidance of the Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health administration. The project is now referred to as the Growing Healthy Minds Initiative. 
• The goal of the Growing Healthy Minds Initiative is to work in partnership with the community to increase multi systems collaboration to address the broad needs of young children and their families. 
• The Growing Healthy Minds team envisions a community that has awareness of the social and emotional needs of young children and has the resources needed to ensure children have the best start in life.
